About Baird Global Media

James R. Baird was born in Avon Lake, Ohio in July 1979. He later attended school in Graphic Art & Communications from 1996 to 1998 and later earned additional media degrees and certificates that shaped his career as an independent journalist and publisher.

From July 1996 through January 2024, James built a distinguished 28-year career in professional media — working for the Willoughby News-Herald, The Journal Register Company, Digital First Media, Advance Local Media, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, serving Northeast Ohio audiences, in some cases 7 days a week without interruption.

James laid the cornerstone for Baird Global Media in 2009 establishing the brand online under @BairdGlobalMedia — a presence that remains fully operational today. In October 2023 he filed for his Articles of Corporation. In January 2024 he retired from working for other corporations to to enjoy time with God, his family & Baird Global Media.

On September 26, 2023, Baird Global Media LLC was registered with the State of Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose as an Official Broadcast & Media Publications Company as a Limited Liability Corporation in Good Standing entity #5117167.

Today, BairdGlobalMedia.com delivers live television, music, podcasts, writings, national weather, breaking news, and advertising opportunities for National & Global audiences. James R. Baird continues to lead as CEO and Publisher with 100% undivided ownership.
